There once was a time when the Confederate Flag stood for something honorable, like treason in defense of slavery. But now it's been hijacked by racist white supremacists! In conclusion, Black people are the real racists, because of rap.

People claim to be offended by the confederate flag for a multitude of racist based reasons,but where is the "moral" liberal press when it comes to people with their pants down by their knees,or Ebonics? A clear display of people who cannot master their own countries language,even though they were born and raised here. Where is the outrage of lazy ignorance?
Truly, that people are more upset by folks celebrating treason-in-defense-of-slavery than they are by people dressing strangely or talking in a different dialect is inexplicable. No, wait, it's the people who think those things are remotely equivalent that are inexplicable. My bad.
(Also, while it's hardly a perfect proxy, a Google n-gram search shows that "ebonics" overtook "confederate flag" as a more prevalent topic of conversation in 1996 and hasn't looked back).
